Compassion of Vraja-mandala – Verse quoted by Indradyumna Swami

Compassion of Vraja-mandala – Verse quoted by Indradyumna Swami

“Those in Vraja-maṇḍala who are bitten by a snake, killed by animals, killed by fire, water or any other unnatural cause certainly become residents of My very own spiritual planet.”

Spontaneous compassion of Lord Caitanya – Verse quoted by Indradyumna Swami

Spontaneous compassion of Lord Caitanya – Verse quoted by Indradyumna Swami

“Out of His spontaneous compassion Lord Caitanya restored all the people back to consciousness, and through the means of His Holy Name enabled them to pass beyond the impassable ocean of the age of quarrel. Thus by the golden moons of Lord Hari and the Vaisnavas news of the names of Krishna was told from person to person.”

Eternally residing in Vraja – Verse quoted by Indradyumna Swami

Eternally residing in Vraja – Verse quoted by Indradyumna Swami

“Even if I have the opportunity to bathe in the ocean of pure love of Krishna, and even if I have the pure devotees of the infallible Supreme Personality of Godhead as my associates, I will not consent to live even for a single moment, in any sacred place other than Vrajabhumi. Even if the residents of Vraja appear to be ordinary, and even if they fill my ears with useless gossip, I pray that I may remain among them, eternally residing here in Vraja.”

Real friendship – From a lecture by Indradyumna Swami

Real friendship – From a lecture by Indradyumna Swami

“This is real friendship—Krsna consciousness. Everyone needs a friend, right? A friend in need is a friend indeed. So people from all walks of life have friends. But only in Krishna Consciousness can you find a true friend. Because in the material world, friendship is based on sense gratification, isn’t it? You like the same type of food (I won’t mention the food), the same kind of music (I won’t mention the music), the same kind of cars, the same girls, the same boys. So you become involved, you become entangled.”

sādhavo hṛdayaṁ mahyaṁ

“The pure devotee is always within the core of My heart, and I am always in the heart of the pure devotee. My devotees do not know anything else but Me, and I do not know anyone else but them.”

Nectar-ocean of attachment to Sri Radha’s lotus feet – Verse quoted by Indradyumna Swami

Nectar-ocean of attachment to Sri Radha’s lotus feet – Verse quoted by Indradyumna Swami

yathā yathā gaura-padāravinde

tathā tathotsarpati hṛdy akasmāt
rādhā-padāmbhoja-sudhāṁbu-rāśiḥ

Translation: “To the degree that a fortunate pious person attains devotion unto the lotus feet of Gaura, to that degree he spontaneously finds the nectar-ocean of attachment to Sri Radha’s lotus feet rising in his heart.”

Concentrated Nectar – From a lecture by Indradyumna Swami

Concentrated Nectar – From a lecture by Indradyumna Swami

“Ter Kadamba is a very sacred place and it’s for that reason that one of the greatest acharyas in our disciples succession made this place, which was really a jungle in those days, as one of his places of bhajan. What does bhajan mean?

Hare Krsna Hare Krsna

Krsna Krsna Hare Hare

Hare Rama Hare Rama

Rama Rama Hare Hare

22 hours a day! In a deeper sense, bhajan means that the pure Devotee is pouring his heart out to the Divine Couple, Radha and Krsna. And sometimes while doing so, like Jesus said, “My cup runneth over with love.” Sometimes the ecstatic symptoms of love of Godhead become manifest on the body of the pure Devotee. And this whole area became permeated with the bhava, or love, of Srila Rupa Goswami for the Divine Couple. And because it’s transcendental, it’s eternal. It’s still here. So as the ether, a very subtle element becomes contaminated by sin, similarly the ether becomes purified and becomes full of prema by the presence of the pure Devotee. So this here at Ter Kadamba is concentrated nectar.”
